Description

Ohlins looked at the Honda Grom and saw a lot of room for improvement, so their engineers stepped in with their expertise from MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and WSBK and developed the FDK 111 to greatly improve the traction, overall handling, cornering, braking, and feedback both on and off the track. The Ohlins FDK 111 Fork Cartridge kit comes with springs rates of 5.5 N/mm and 6.0 N/mm to enable you to select the perfect spring for your riding style.

Installation: This cartridge kit is easily installed into the Honda Grom fork legs after removing the standard fork kit, however Ohlins always recommends having an authorized Ohlins center perform the installation.

Note on Oil: Ohlins recommends the use of Ohlins suspension fluid R&T 01309-01 for this product. Ohlins designs each suspension product using their suspension fluid, therefore it is highly recommended that you ONLY use Ohlins suspension oil in your Ohlins product. The use of non-Ohlins fluid may negatively affect the damping characteristics of your suspension.

The actual product may differ slightly from the product shown, as Ohlins designs each product to be bike specific.

No one wants to field test crash protection, but am happy to day that these worked amazingly. Got run off the road into a construction wall, and aside from a chewed up clutch lever and some road rash on the fairings my bike is back in action.
