Description

Our TST Twill Carbon Fiber Front Fender is designed specifically to replace the OEM component that Yamaha equipped your 2006 - 2016 YZF-R6 with. It creates a modern and aggressive look, sheds unsprung mass from the front suspension, and installs in just minutes using the same method and hardware as your OEM piece. Our carbon fiber components are crafted from Toray aviation-grade carbon fiber prepreg using metal molds in an autoclave. The post-cure trimming is done via CNC machining to assure a precise and accurate fit. Carbon fiber has a 7-9 times greater tensile strength when compared to steel and is the lightest (and sexiest) material on the market. Each Yamaha R6 front fender is coated with a high gloss clear coat that provides UV protection to resist fading and yellowing, ensuring it keeps its sexy and aggressive look for years to come. This is a great way to add space-age technology and look to your bike no matter if you ride the track or commute on the streets!

In some cases, there may be a need to Dremel or drill out the mounting points for more accurate fitment.

Installed on 2014 R6.
Overall a very good quality part. Mounted right up with no problem. Only issue I had was that at the nose of the fender the curvature wasn't symmetrical from one side to the other but you have to be looking right at it to even notice.
