Description

These Womet-Tech bar ends will protect your Yamaha FZ-09 / MT-09, XSR900, or NIKEN in case of a crash or a fall while adding some personalized style to your ride at the same time. They were designed with a little extra length to protect the upper fairings and controls in most crashes. The combination of robust delrin and aluminum gives them a unique functional design that brings an affordable crash protection element to your bike that can potentially save you hundreds in the event of an off. The high density polymer will absorb some of the impact during a crash, protecting your fairings and controls while aiding in and promoting sliding instead of catching on the road surface.

You can trust these components to be designed and tested for the optimum performance. Important Note on Color: Images of Womet-Tech anodized parts show the typical color of the item. However, due to the anodizing process, some products may differ slightly from average (this is common for anodized parts from any manufacturer). A red piece may not match the vibrancy, or a blue piece may be slightly lighter in hue. This note mainly applies to colors other than black. If you are not satisfied with the color of your particular product, please contact us for a return or replacement.

The general weight and finish of the product is good. The threads are clean and there are no unfinished edges/burrs all around. The slider pucks fit great. The color is off, and they are an eye sore next to my other anodized red parts...sorry, not sorry. If TST offered to ship me black replacements as a good will gesture, I would not turn them down. Please reach out and you have a customer for life.

Advantages: They threaded in without issue; Install is very simple; The slider puck should save the bar ends in a minor drop

Disadvantages: The red is, in reality, a shade of orange. We need to be honest about that, simply put. Your "important note on color" is just lazy. Work with the manufacturer to be better. To say this is a problem with all anodized parts is simply passing the buck. I have cheap-ish Chinese levers that are truly red, and after two years have not faded as one may worry about. Hold your vendor/manufacturer to a higher standard. For this reason I have to give only 3 stars, as a main selling point of this type of product is the aesthetic. I wish I could attach a picture, as I am not being sensational about this.

This customer purchased the item at our site.
Been using these on all of my bikes. Low-sided on my FZ09 recently, and the slider took it like a champ, just got shaved off cleanly on the road, and left my grips and the rest of the handlebar intact. Highly recommend them, especially for the price!

Great craftsmanship, color is not what I was expecting. Bought the level one protection kit for my 2017 fz 09.

Advantages: -easy to install
- great quality

Disadvantages: -does not match the blue caps on the frame sliders. Color is more of a lighter shade, does not match like I was hoping for but still a good product. May change them out down the road.

No one wants to field test crash protection, but am happy to day that these worked amazingly. Got run off the road into a construction wall, and aside from a chewed up clutch lever and some road rash on the fairings my bike is back in action.
