Understanding Brake Light Modulator Applications and Returns

Our TST Brake Light Modulator harnesses fit a massive list of motorcycles, and we are constantly adding more supported models to the application charts in the listings. As we research new models, there are a few ways that we verify fitment. The first is in-person verification right here in our TST headquarters. This is our preferred way of making sure the unit works as intended. Sometimes, it’s extremely difficult to get our hands on certain models (we’re looking at you Ducati), so periodically we’re forced to rely on a couple of other methods; those being parts diagram and you, the customer.

If we can verify fitment on a manufacturer-backed parts diagram, then we will put the model up as a supported model in the application chart with an asterisks*. That means we haven’t been able to personally verify it, but it should work according to the manufacturer.

In those cases, we rely on feedback from you, the customer, to tell us if the manufacturers diagram is wrong or simply hasn’t been updated by the OE. If that’s the case, and you purchase a Brake Light Modulator and run into fitment issues for a model with an asterisk next to it, don’t worry, we’ve got the full return covered. Just don’t go and try to smash the harness into place or modify it in any way, it needs to be in good condition or we can’t take it back. Nonetheless, if you have a fitment issue, simply reach out to us and let our customer support team know your bike details and the fitment issue you’re having. This helps us update our application charts with the most accurate data, even though the manufacturer may not supply it. We’ll send you a prepaid shipping label and issue a full refund once we receive the TST Brake Light Modulator to inspect it’s in good condition. Often times, your information enables us to create a new harness that will fit your bike in a short turn around time so you can get those TST goodies on your motorcycle as fast as possible!
