Ceperano Endurance Race Classic: Race Report – A Podium Finish!

For Immediate Press Release:

Location: Jennings GP, Florida.

Date: January 25, 2026

The 2026 endurance racing season commenced under ideal conditions at the Ceparano Endurance Classic, held at Jennings GP in sunny Florida. With a well-proven platform in the Suzuki GSX-8R—extensively tested and refined throughout 2025—the TST team arrived fully prepared following productive practice sessions and targeted setup adjustments.

Classic #1 (3 Hours – Counterclockwise Configuration)The opening 3-hour race featured riders Isaac, Bart, and Gabe. Isaac secured an early lead for the team. However, a minor incident during the first pit stop—involving a loose clamp on the quick-fill fuel system—resulted in spilled fuel and extended downtime, forcing the team to rejoin the track one lap down with Bart aboard. Although the team successfully recovered the lost lap, a subsequent red flag necessitated a race restart, returning the team to a one-lap deficit. Rule adjustments implemented mid-event (permitting tire changes and refueling during the red flag, and reducing the required number of riders from three to two) further complicated strategy with approximately 45 minutes remaining. Gabe concluded the race strongly, securing 4th position overall. While not the intended result, the outcome reflected strong team resilience in face of unforeseen challenges.

Classic #2 (3 Hours – Clockwise Configuration)Riders Isaac, Alex, and Justin took to the track for the second 3-hour session. Isaac once again established an early advantage, building a one-lap lead over the field during his stint. A flawless pit stop handed the bike to Alex, who maintained consistent lap times and preserved the lead. Justin assumed control for the final hour, delivering steady performance and extending the margin to two laps by the checkered flag—securing the team’s first victory of the weekend. Post-race, the team conducted thorough inspections and addressed minor wear-related issues accumulated over six hours of competition.

Classic #3 (5 Hours)The final 5-hour endurance race began under mixed wet conditions following morning rain, which precluded additional practice. Isaac started on slicks, confidently navigating the damp track to establish a two-lap lead after a long 1 hour and 30-minute stint. A red flag prompted a rider change to Gabe without tire or fuel alterations. As conditions improved to a drying line, the team executed a planned stop after approximately 25 minutes, transitioning to Bart—who recorded the team’s fastest lap at that stage. Alex followed, sustaining the two-lap advantage with consistent pacing amid increasing wind gusts up to 20 mph. Justin managed the next stint effectively, capitalizing on a mechanical issue affecting the second-place contender to further extend the lead. Isaac returned for the closing 25 minutes, setting the weekend’s outright fastest lap of 1:19.6 under challenging windy conditions and crossing the line in 1st place.

The event concluded with the TST team claiming 1st place in the Twins class and 1st overall, completing a total of 387 laps on Dunlop tires—an outstanding performance that highlighted the Suzuki GSX-8R’s competitiveness following its approval in the Twins category.

This successful weekend served as an excellent opportunity to refine team coordination, shake off any off-season rust, and build momentum following a strong 2025 campaign. The full complement of 2025 riders—Isaac, Bart, Gabe, Alex, and Justin—returned, positioning the team to improve upon last year’s 3rd-place finish in the WERA Endurance Middleweight class. Looking ahead, the team is eager to compete in the WERA Endurance series, the inaugural N2RA 6-hour endurance event at Virginia International Raceway, and ASRA competition at the iconic Daytona International Speedway.

Thank you to our sponsors, Dunlop Motorcycle Tires , Blud Lubricants, Andreani USA / Nitron and the entire TST crew for their support and dedication. A special thank you to Suzuki Cycles for offering a reliable and well-rounded platform that’s competitive in racing. Onward to a competitive 2026 season.
