Meet Jon : The Man Behind Your TST Package
The TST Warehouse performs like a well-oiled machine. Orders come in and we ship them right out, striving for perfection and 100% customer satisfaction. The man behind the machine is Jon, our Warehouse Manager.
In August of 2014, business was taking off here at TST, making it essential to add another member to the five-man team. Mark, our customer service superstar, suggested hiring his roommate, Jon, to efficiently oversee quality control and fill orders, preserving TST’s ambition to send only the best parts to our customers as quickly as we could.
Jon, happily working nights at a local wine bar, jumped at the chance to work in the motorcycle industry, agreeing to come on part time. It didn’t take long to see that TST Industries was right where he belonged. Back then, Jon ran our warehouse solo, and quickly blew us away with his dedication, organization, and commitment to our company culture.
A year later, Jon put down the corkscrew and took on TST full time. Today, he manages one of the most spectacular warehouse teams in the business. We love Jon, and you’ll love him too! Without further ado, meet the man behind your TST package.
Introducing, Jon…
Born and raised? I was born in New York and moved to Florida soon after my 11th birthday.
First bike? A 1996 GXR600.
Second bike? A 2016 Honda Grom!
If you could own any bike, what would it be? Triumph Daytona 675R
What are you looking forward to in 2017? Taking the Grom and riding the Trail of the Dragon at the Smokey Mountain Crawl with my friends and co-workers.
What Grom modification is a must? Around here, the exhaust. It’s a small bike, and Florida has a lot of older drivers; the exhaust lets them know you’re coming.
What’s a funny/memorable day you remember at TST? Apparently the guys thought it would be funny to hide my Grom. So I started looking all over TST to try and find it, only to find it in the warehouse…on the very top rack.
Best part of living in Florida? The beaches and that year-round riding weather.
Whats your favorite hobby? Pretty much boils down to eating different foods and working on my bike as much as I can.
Dream job? TST Warehouse Manager, of course! Either that or a comedian, because I love to make people laugh.
Your team? Brooklyn Nets for basketball and the NY Giants when it comes to football.
What’s your dream vacation? Lying on a beach, surrounded by clear water, a cold beer in my hand, and no one around for miles.
Dinner with one person, dead or alive? Jim Carrey. He was my favorite actor growing up, and all of his movies make me laugh.
Best friend? My rescue dog, Bowser. He’s a terrier mix, our little knee biter.
Best part about working at TST Industries? I love it here. My co-workers are awesome; we all have the same interests and are passionate about bikes. The atmosphere is laid back and easy going, only because everyone is super productive and loves what they do for a living.
Fun Jon Fact? In order to buy my first bike, I sold my sneaker collection. I had over 35 pairs!
Describe your perfect day. I would spend the day riding with friends, hanging out with Bowser, eating a ton of tacos, all while never once having to look at my phone. That sounds like a perfect day.
