Q: Do I need to send my ECU to you?
A: No - this kit give you the tools and access to the software that enables you to flash your ECU in your own garage / home.

Q: Do I need access to a computer to install my reflash?
A: Yes - a computer with internet access is required for the ECU flashing process.

Q: Do I leave the harness connected after installing it?
A: Yes - the FTECU harness is meant to be permanently installed on your Yamaha FZ-09 / MT-09

Q: Can I flash my friends ECU that also has the same bike as I do?
A: No - this kit will "marry" to your specific ECU via a serial number and will not be able to be used on a different ECU. You can tell your friend about us though and we would be happy to sell him / her their own FTECU ECU Flash Kit.

Q: I'm located outside of the United States. Will I have to pay duties on this item?
A: Some countries charge additional fees when a package is imported and delivered to the recipient. We have no way of knowing or estimating what these fees will be. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover these additional costs.

Q: What is your return and warranty policy?
A: FTECU does not provide a warranty with their Data-Link Flash Kits. FTECU kits can ONLY be returned if they are in a new and unused condition and must include all original paperwork and packaging. If any part of this kit has been installed or used in any way, we are not able to accept the return.
