TST LED Low-Profile Universal Fit License Plate Light

The tag lights were easy to install. The positaps made everything super easy to install. My wiring harness colors were red and black so it was simple to figure out which wires to tap into.

Another excellent product from TST. Simple, inexpensive, lightweight, seems durable, easy to install, and very bright. Can't go wrong.

Very easy install, only complaint I have with the light is due to the design of the front of the light where the black plastic kind of swoops up and the clear of the lens shows is VERY bright to the rear of the bike. I intend to either paint or tape off the front of the light itself to reduce the amount of light going back towards drivers behind me. It sounds ridiculous but with this plate light and the integrated tail, it reduces the visibility of the tails and the signals because of how blinding the LED is.

Besides that, fit and finish is excellent

Disadvantages: BLINDING light bleed towards the rear due to the design of the front lens. Needs modification to reduce the glare taking visibility away from the tail lights and signals.

If it was plug-n-play I would give it 5 stars, but it requires splicing or soldering so I gave it 4/5.
I took the wires from the stock light and soldered it to the new light for easy removal and installation.

This little light packs a punch! Very easy to install! No splicing/soldering required! Would recommend to anyone who wants to give the cops one less reason to pull you over!

Advantages: So easy to install, it almost does it on its own. Wiring is super simple and the sticker patch is incredibly sticky!

Disadvantages: If the plate has a lip on it, the sticky part doesn't get a full contact stick. Make sure you flatten a section for maximum contact.

Very easy to install with the connectors provided, light is very bright! Very high quality! Not the cheap Chinese lights you see on eBay. I bought 2 setl! 1 for my R1and 1 for my 1000RR!

Too bad the TST tail lights don’t have a white light on the bottom to light up the license plate. Could have saved $20 and not cluttered the small space under my seat with wire connectors.

Advantages: Very bright

Disadvantages: Mine was not shipped with the small red screw on wire connectors like the video. The TST tail lights should come with plugs already installed in the wiring harnesses with matching connectors on the License plate LED wires. Wish I would have at least had the red screw on connectors.

Ludicrously bright light with a super easy mounting method. Just tear away the backing strip on the adhesive, place it between the plate and the mounting bracket, and run the wire up into the compartment.

Note: The vampires are easy to use but fiddly. Make sure to apply a reasonable amount of pressure to the exposed wire into the cap to get it to seat.

For the Ninja 650 models 2016-2019 the blue wire is your running light.
