It worked without modification, trimming or refitting!
Purchased for the V-Strom 800de. I now have in all likelihood, one of the fastest V-Strom800's in the country! Almost the power of the 1050 but way lighter with better suspension!

Advantages: Truly wakes up the engine. No more popping on decel. The torque is noticeable!

Disadvantages: Takes just a minute to get accustomed to the quick turn throttle. Easier to maintain good arm and hand position once you get it.

Guys, stop looking at this everyday. Just get it. Your warranty doesn't matter. It works. Blah blah blah. Speed, faster, smoother. It's like an ad that you don't know that you need. Just do it.

In all fairness i've had this done on 3 bikes now and it's overall a 8/10 improvement. It's 5/5 stars not because it isn't cheaper. It's 5/5 because it's a super fair value for the kit and the effort the team did to provide this to everyone.

Advantages: Everything

Disadvantages: Nothing.
