Description

The clutch on your Yamaha R3 or MT-03 is in a vulnerable position and extremely prone to damage during a crash or even a simple tip over in the parking lot. That can lead to a cracked case that leaks oil, or worse, a cover that was ground down during a slide that results in full internal component exposure and debris contamination. We have quite a Yamaha R3 and MT-03 bikes of our own around the shop, so naturally, we wanted to add some beefy, yet sophisticated, protection to this component while we rip around town or drag knee at our local track. The result is an easy-to-install clutch cover case saver that is CNC machined from 6061 hard-anodized aluminum. There's no need to remove the stock clutch cover so there's no mess with oil, and the precision engineering ensures a perfect fit without any fairing modification required. That means you can gain valuable engine crash protection without spending hours in the garage. No matter your riding style, robust engine protection can make the difference between calling a tow truck or riding your Yamaha back to the garage.

A: Absolutely! Even though we designed these with racing in mind, meaning we wanted them to be lightweight yet provide maximum protection, they aren't just for racers. Everyone that rides a Yamaha R3 or MT-03 can benefit from adding protection to their engine, after all, crashes and falls happen both on the street and at the track.
