Airbox Features
DescriptionOur TST WORX division has made huge strides in unlocking additional performance gains from Suzuki's 776cc parallel-twin motor, and this MotoAmerica homologated TST WORX Airbox can help your team do the same! This airbox houses specifically chosen velocity stacks that differ from our non-MotoAmerica Spec WORX Airbox. It produces slightly less power throughout the rev range below 9000 RPM; however, above 9000 RPM, it excels—making it incredibly beneficial for high-end racing when paired with an aftermarket ECU that enables higher rev limits and accommodates internal engine modifications. The velocity stacks are housed in a premium carbon fiber shell and are protected by a high-flow reusable foam filter. The smaller form factor enables the installation of piggyback rear shocks, ensuring your race setup is no longer limited to remote reservoir shock options. Installation note: We recommend removing the AIS and charcoal canister as this airbox does not feature a hose inlet for the AIS system. If you do not want to remove them, simply plug the hose coming off of the AIS and either secure it to a surrounding structure or let it hang freely. We highly recommend checking the air filter after each race weekend or every 10 - 20 hours (whichever comes first). Depending on air conditions, this may mean cleaning and re-oiling after each weekend to ensure optimal engine protection and airflow. This item is not eligible for discounts. Q: What does "MotoAmerica Spec" mean exactly?
A: MotoAmerica Spec means that the configuration of the stacks within the airbox have been specifically designed and chosen for MotoAmerica teams competing in the Twins Cup. These teams have fully built motors, aftermarket ECUs, full race wire harnesses, etc. at their disposal and are able to take advantage of this specific airbox configuration. Q: Can I get this even if I don't have a fully built motor or have a MotoAmerica bike? A: We aren't going to send the cops to your door, but without the other MotoAmerica parameters built around this airbox, you will see less performance gains than if you had purchased our non-MotoAmerica spec Airbox that is available HERE. Q: How long will it take for me to receive this once you receive my stock ECU? A: Our handling time is 1-2 business days, and the shipping time varies based on the shipping method selected. To learn more about shipping times, please see the articles in our Terms & Conditions regarding domestic and international shipping here. Q: I'm located outside of the United States. Will I have to pay duties on this item? A: Some countries charge additional fees when a package is imported and delivered to the recipient. We have no way of knowing or estimating what these fees will be. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover these additional costs. Q: What is your return and warranty policy? A: Please read over our policies thoroughly on our terms and conditions page BEFORE making your purchase. TST Industries Terms and Conditions |
