Detailed Description
As the new Kawasaki ZX-6R was announced at the AIMExpo in Las Vegas, we were there to look at all of the upgrades, new styling, and immediately start thinking of new ways to improve the machine. As with every stock motorcycle that rolls off the factory floor, the new ZX6R comes with a bulky set of turn signals and a tail light that leaves a lot to be desired, both in terms of design and functionality. That's where we step in! Our exclusive TST LED Integrated Programmable Tail Light not only enables you to ditch the OEM bulk, but also upgrade the styling of your Kawasaki with a lens that compliments the body lines and design elements of the ZX-6R. But this tail light isn't just about looks! It features super bright LEDs that demand attention on the street, built in turn signals, and 9 programmable light modes to choose from. The plug and play wiring means you don't have to cut, splice, or solder anything - just plug in the connectors and you're done! This tail light features two OEM-style signal connectors on the wire harness. Please utilize the connector style that matches your specific motorcycle and simply leave the unused connectors disconnected and tucked away.
FLASH RATE: An LED Flasher Relay or Load Balancing Resistors are needed for this tail light to flash properly. Please note that an LED Flasher Relay or Load Balancing Resistors are not automatically included. If you already have an LED Flasher Relay installed, you do not need another.
Q: Do I have to do any drilling, cutting, or custom wiring? A: No - We designed this tail light to be a direct replacement of the stock unit. We even outfitted the wiring with OEM-style connectors so you don't have to perform any custom wiring.
Q: Why are there two different types of signal connectors on my tail light? A: This tail light is compatible with a range of Kawasaki's that utilize two different connector types, and instead of including a wasteful sub-harness, we simply included both connectors on the tail light harness. That means that all you have to do is match the connector style on the tail light with the same connector type on your motorcycle, then simply leave the unused connectors disconnected and tuck them away with the rest of your wires during the installation process.
