Description

When you remove the OEM fender from your R3 or MT-03, you end up with an unrefined look in the tail area. We took the necessary time to develop an Undertail Fairing that would be unsurpassed in fit, style, and look. Our undertail is the only one of its kind in that it perfectly matches the lines of the bike down to the color and texture of the surrounding components. It closes off the trunk area from water and debris, and provides a mounting base for any license plate bracket that has hole spacing of 1 3/16" (30mm) on center. If you are just looking to close off the area but are not interested in remounting your license plate, this kit will be perfect for you. Fits like OEM looks great, Texture matches bike.

Advantages: Gives the bike a cleaner look!

Disadvantages: You need to buy a license plate bracket with it, or else your not going to have a place for it

How is this not stock for the bike? By far the easiest mod and completely changes the look of the R3 not to mention the weight advantage.

Advantages: Something like three pounds lighter
Looks completely stock
Simple install
Lightweight tag bracket had multiple holes for different plates

Disadvantages: The sticky back tag light isn't my cup o' tea. Could use a little more permanent option.

Yamaha 2015+ R3 Fender Eliminator, Adjustable Plate Mount & LED Plate Light Kits. Prompt & safe delivery of purchase (USPS Priority). Quality materials & even though it's a pretty simple product, thoughtful execution of design & manufacturing. 4.8947 Stars.

Advantages: Quality finish & materials; anodized aluminum & stainless steel. Light wiring hole position is clearly marked if you need to drill. Good installation video.

Disadvantages: Paper print Installation Sheet, Inventory List & Tool List would be handy instead of being stuck to a laptop. (3mm & 4mm Allen Wrench. 8mm & 10 mm Wrench).

Couldn't find installation of Stock Lighting to Fender Eliminator Adaptor (use light bracket between License Plate Mount & Fender Eliminator).

This is definitely the best undertail kit for Yamaha MT-03 and R3.
I love my bike, but, being honest, I didn't like the tail it had. I ordered this kit and had it shipped all the way down to Costa Rica. My brother installed it in a few minutes, and it changed the look of my bike.

Advantages: Color and texture match the original plastics on the bike.
Easy to install.
Great value for the price.

Disadvantages: Not your fault, but these kits are not available in my country (had to order from the US).
