These are great looking signals, and no visibility is lost with replacing them. I wanted to replace all the incandescents on my bike, and these were perfect. They look fantastic and the install video made things simple

I purchased the smoke finish version of this tail light and I have to say I'm overall very pleased with the design and look of the system. It was relatively easy to install and allowed me to delete the original pumpkin blinkers on the rear end. If I had to complain about one thing, it'd be this - there is now about a second long delay between hitting the blinker switch and activation of the blinkers. That's really just a slight inconvenience though.

The only other thing I'd say to be aware of, especially if you live in a heavily regulated state such as Commiefornia; these are not DOT approved.

I bought this along with the integrated tail light. It seemed as though everything was going ok and not taking too long to get through the disassembly of the motorcycle. I was working on putting this fender eliminator together and found that the screw did not want to go into the mount that the license plate pivots on. I was able to get the screw to go in from one side, but not the other. I had the exact same experience with both pivot points. Because I do not own an tap and die set and I didn't want to put the motorcycle back together and try to send the kit back for replacement, I set about to try to make it work. I was able to hold the pivot bracket in some pliers and work the screw through from the other side until I was able to force past whatever the problem was. Eventually, after quite a while, I was able to get the screw to go in properly. I highly recommend you attempt to put the bracket together before you take your motorcycle apart so that you will know if there will be any problems.

I also ordered the stealth license plate light kit to go with this. Because I still have the paper plate from the dealer, I left the plastic dealer plate frame on it for additional support. With the frame on it, the stealth light is all the way up against the bottom of the motorcycle which makes it so that I am unable to adjust the angle of the plate. Maybe when I get the actual plate and remove the frame it will pivot properly. Keep this in mind if you want to use a decorative plate frame.

Then there is the close out that covers the old screw holes. It looks nice, but I don't understand the high cost of that little piece of metal.

Overall I think that the price of this Elite-1 Fender Eliminator it a little too high and maybe there need to be a few kinks worked out of it.

These taillights are amazing! Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Installation was a breeze thanks to the video provided in the product page.

Advantages: Brighter visibility even during sunny afternoons. Provides driver alert with the different modes for stop light and turn signals. Enhances the look of the bike.

Disadvantages: Causes envy from fellow motorcyclists that haven't bought the product yet.

Overall - as is typical with TST this is a great product. I do have one complaint though...In the installation video Bart says to use the 12mm Allen bit until it "bottoms out" however - I believe that even when bottomed - the unit does not sit flush to the case. This is a critical detail that would have prevented me from stripping the plastic female hex receptacle. Just a warning for other users- I was still able to use my unit - so no harm no foul here - just a note of detail here.

Disadvantages: It doesn't center the tag under the bike so if you are OCD like myself, it will drive you crazy. I got mine almost centered by doing a little extra cutting..

What a great eliminator kit, makes my MT09 SP look way cleaner in the rear. And not to mention loosing about 5 pounds off the bike. TST is my go to for motorcycle parts!

I actually order this exhaust from Toce Perfomance because of the stealth black powder coat option they had. The exhaust looks absolutely amazing on my R3. It sounds excellent as well.

Excellent product, very easy to install, very bright! I would buy one of these again. I really liked that I did not have to cut my wiring to install!
