Got the smoked out light but a separate plate holder. I absolutely love it! The light is so much brighter than stock, and I like that it blinks to grab attention when I hit my brakes.

I ran into a few issues I had to troubleshoot so hopefully these tips help.

There, unfortunately, are no instructions. The video they use was super helpful, but the wiring option used in the video caused some confusion, as I've never done wiring work before and I was not using the same setup.

Heads up, the relay is located just to the right of the ignition for a Z650, just under the fairing around the ignition, and the fuse box is on the left side of the ignition but underneath the forward fairings.

When I plugged everything in and turned on the battery to test it, I found that the brake lights wouldn't work. Turns out I wound up blowing a fuse and had to replace it with a spare in the fuse box (still don't know why it blew, but have had no issues since the fix). Needlenose pliers were incredibly helpful.

The product is great, just make sure everything is connected before you turn on the bike to test it. If you have any issues where everything but one feature works, check the wiring for damage of course, then before you get too frustrated, check the fuses on the bike. The fairings are annoying but it will save you time in the end.

The plate and plate light were a separate purchase, so I cut the wire from the dragonfly with PLENTY Of extra cord to work with and spliced the new light into that so it would stay plug-and-play. Do your prep and test how you run the wires before splicing and install to save yourself some rework.

The fuse turned out to be a super simple fix and the bike looks SO much better without the dragonfly. Plan your plate mount and plate light install to save yourself some re-splicing or the need for an angle grinder. Overall a really good product, great quality, looks cool and works amazing.

Wasn’t expecting much from a license plate light but was really impressed with this kit. Installed with undertail kit with low mount and integrated taillight light. I love how my bike looks now.

Simple plug and play, did exactly what it is designed to do, brilliant!

Had a lowside this morning on cold roads w/ cold tires (my mistake), the only damage was to the frame slider and my shifter pretty much. I was honestly scared to look at the bike after picking it up, and was RELIEVED that none of my fairings were damaged. Bought another set as soon as I got to work

With the splicing hardware they provide, it made this install take a couple of minutes. Super easy!!! And the 3M tape on the light is extremely strong. Once its on your plate, its not going anywhere. The light itself is bright as well. Don't skip out on this and risk getting pulled over!

Absolutely love this tail light! For being smoked out it as bright as heck! Love the fact that it has a button to program different indicators and also love the fact that it was super simple to install especially thanks to the high quality instructional video they have on their youtube channel!
