Description

Body and weight control are essential techniques for both aggressive performance riding as well as casual touring. By gripping the tank with your legs, you will improve overall control of your body motion, weight position, and posture. This means you enhance your riding experience while simultaneously providing bodywork and gear protection.

TechSpec has quickly become one of the leaders in high-quality tank grips and protectors with their theory of achieving a solid grip based on material properties and surface area contact.

Snake Skin is the thickest (.125") tank grip with a low profile diamond pattern. It has a high traction rubber feel and is extremely popular within the racing community and more aggressive street riders. It features excellent wear properties and provides significant grip for your legs. Each Snake Skin kit includes two side tank grips (1 per side) and a matching center tank protector.

XL2 is thinner than Snake Skin, coming in at only 0.045". It's a medium durometer rubber skin with a raised dot throughout the surface. It's thin, lightweight, and features a high coefficient of friction, all while being easy on the wallet.

Installation

Q: Which kit is best?
A: Both are great options, but ultimately it boils down to personal preference. Be sure to read the breakdown of both textures carefully, but honestly - both provide massive improvements in rider body control, fatigue, and anchor points when riding your motorcycle when compared to plane body panels.

Q: Will it leave a residue if I want to remove them later?
A: No - TechSpec adhesive does not leave any residue on your body panels and these tank grips can be removed at any time without leaving a sticky residue.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive this once I order it?

Q: I'm located outside of the United States. Will I have to pay duties on this item?

Very pleased with the levers. I can’t convince myself to spend over $200 on a pair of levers especially when I just ride for fun. So these fit perfectly for me. Not too expensive, but also not cheap pieces of crap.
