That’s where the TST Elite-1 Fender Eliminator comes in. Engineered specifically to match the R9’s performance-driven look, this kit replaces the bulky factory setup with a lightweight and minimal tail tidy kit. Choose between a black powder-coated stainless steel Standard High bracket with a fixed position angle, or our CNC-machined 6061 aluminum Adjustable High bracket featuring a gorgeous black anodized finish. Each kit includes our exclusive undertail closeout, designed with all-new geometry to match the contours of the R9’s tail section. The injection-molded closeout has been color and texture-matched to the rest of the R9 undertail, ensuring a seamless fit and finish with the surrounding OEM tail panels. No matter which kit you choose, the TST Elite-1 Fender Eliminator is the go-to upgrade for a cleaner, more aggressive tail on your Yamaha R9.

NON U.S. BUYERS: Our standard bracket is designed for U.S. plates and fits a hole spacing of 12.7 to 15.49 cm with 5mm hardware, while the adjustable bracket fits a hole spacing of 13.2 to 15.97 cm with 5mm hardware. It is your responsibility to verify fitment before making your purchase

High Mount Installation

Q: Do I have to do any drilling?
A: No - We designed this kit to be directly bolt-on with no modifications needed for installation.

Q: Is a license plate light included?
A: No - Due to the wide range of rider preferences when it comes to using a license plate light, we do not automatically include one with this kit. If you want to install a license plate light, check out our Universal LED Low-Profile License Plate Light or use the Buy Together option to add the light to your order.

Q: Can I reinstall my stock turn signals?
A: In order to reuse your OEM turn signals, you'll need to add the TST OEM Rear Turn Signal Bracket - Kit D to your order. That bracket is can be installed with this Elite-1 High Mount Fender Eliminator and securely mount the stock turn signals without any modifications to the Fender Eliminator or your ride.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive this once I order it?

Q: I'm located outside of the United States. Will I have to pay duties on this item?

Installed the finder eliminator with the tag light. Everything was straight forward and I followed along with the video. Everything was fine until I tightened the bolt to lock the swivel in place and the closeout pice snapped. Now I have to order another one.

Advantages: Product looks great. Going to great once closeout gets replaced.

Disadvantages: Closeout broke too easily. Was very last step as well. Be careful with this piece.

This product requires a plastic safe thread locker, and it does not come with the product.

Looks good and tst has an in depth guide available on YouTube making installation a breeze.

Disadvantages: Like others have mentioned product should be installed with thread locker. Just make sure it’s safe for use on plastic.

very happy with my purchase, install went smoothly and the swivel gives a complete 90° adjustment even with the stock blinkers installed on their bracket. 10/10 would recommend for an R9 owner.

Advantages: simplicity, and ability to use stock blinkers. the closeout plate is awesome with thought put into wire management it really sets this one apart from others.

Disadvantages: i do feel like there should be some lock washers between the swivel and the plate bracket, but i didn't have any that small so used locktite.

4 out of 5. And that is based in initial install. Easy. One star removed for the sealing of the modulator board. No gasket on the lid. So not waterproof as hoped. A screw on top with an o-ring would be ideal. Much more expensive no doubt.
