Our Twill Carbon Fiber Rear Tire Hugger is designed and crafted specifically to replace the OEM component that Yamaha equipped your 2006-2020 R6 with. It created a modern and aggressive look and installs in minutes using the stock mounting points and hardware. Our carbon fiber components are crafted from Toray aviation grade carbon fiber prepreg using metal molds in an autoclave. The post cure trimming is done via CNC machining to assure a precise and accurate fit. Carbon fiber has a 7-9 times greater tensile strength when compared to steel and is the lightest (and sexiest) material on the market.
