Description

We've done a lot of work on our third-generation Honda Grom, and during the process, we noticed that the flimsy plastic plugs would often fall out of the side of the undertail. After the third time of having to chase the little plastic plugs down, we knew we had to come up with a solution. We decided to develop a hardware kit that not only securely stays in place but also uses our popular anodized washer that's available in five different colors, enabling you to uniquely customize your Grom in the process. We use these washers for a number of other accent pieces, so you can coordinate a unique look from front to back on your Honda Grom while not having to worry about those stock plastic plugs falling out.

Probably the most frustratingly designed products I've bought from TST for my Grom. They look damn good though.

Advantages: Way nicer looking than the stupid plastic crap that the Grom came with. Good quality. Love the gold pieces. Won't fall out unless it explodes, I bet.

Disadvantages: Poorly designed for assembly, doesnt simply twist together to make things easy, they keep falling apart. The screws didnt want to bite without an unnecessary amount of force.

Didn't come with instructions, though the design is straightforward.

I love the look but feel the design could have been better for install. Huge pain to get installed. Instead of a snap system, I think have one to two threads on the plastic to get it to hold would be better. Funny enough, the back ones were easier than the front cause I could push them against the frame to keep it from falling.

Advantages: Looks great
Color matches other gold anodized pieces

Disadvantages: Pain to install
