Description

The Yamaha R1 and R1M feature a gorgeous full-color electronic dash display, enabling you to fine-tune your Yamaha and see critical information at a glance. Adding robust protection to this component seems like a no-brainer, so when Womet-Tech manufactured a CNC machined enclosure with a Plexiglass display cover, we knew it would be a valuable addition to any R1 or R1M owner. Track enthusiasts and racers especially know the importance of protecting the expensive electronic dash and display, but street riders shouldn't overlook the benefit of protecting this vital component. The enclosure is CNC machined from high-grade aluminum and features a durable black anodized finish with laser-etched Womet-Tech logos. The enclosure protects the sides and back while the precision-cut Plexiglass panel protects the display. Whether it be a rogue keychain or a nasty slide into the gravel at your local track, ensure that your electronic dashboard display is protected from every angle.

Q: Do I have to do any drilling?
A: No - The CNC machined enclosure has built-in ports for wires and mounting.

Q: Is this for the street or track?
A: Both - You'll typically see this type of protection on dedicated track bikes, but that doesn't mean a street bike wouldn't benefit from the same type of protection. Protecting the expensive display and electronics present on the Yamaha R1 dash is a huge benefit no matter what style of riding you do.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive this once I order it?

Total Crash Protection Pack for Kawasaki Ninja 400 2018-2023

No one wants to field test crash protection, but am happy to day that these worked amazingly. Got run off the road into a construction wall, and aside from a chewed up clutch lever and some road rash on the fairings my bike is back in action.
