Description

As part of their engine protection lineup, Womet-Tech took advantage of the right-side timing cover hole and developed a custom crash protection component that replaces the BMW OEM hole plug with a sophisticated CNC machined engine slider. The two-part design install in minutes, and thanks to the precision engineering and manufacturing, the fitment and finished feel like a factory component. The consumable delrin slider aids in initial impact absorption while providing a consumable sliding surface, helping to protect your engine in the process. The robust delrin slider has been specially shaped to promote sliding on ground surfaces, not catching, helping to reduce the risk of your S1000RR tumbling or flipping in a crash. Each crash is different, however, but adding important and trusted crash protection where it counts can be the difference between needing a tow truck or simply picking your BMW up and riding back to the paddock.
