Description

These front flushmount signals fit within the fairing well left behind by OEM signals and clean up the sleek look of your sports machine. The large plastic shoulder nut that attaches the flushmounts to the bike can be trimmed for custom fit applications. The wires of the signals terminate in bullet connectors.

For plug-and-play ability we offer the option to purchase harness converters. Harness converters simply give you a plug and play installation. They do NOT allow our signals to have a running light function. Our signals do not and cannot have a running light function.

FLASH RATE: Installing aftermarket LED lights may make your signal flash rate speed up. Purchasing a flasher relay will correct this problem. Not sure if you need a flasher relay? CLICK HERE to find out!

Installation on a GSX-S1000F

 

Q: Do these signals require any wiring or splicing?
A: The signals come with bullet type connectors which do need to be wired into your harness. If you wish to have a plug and play installation instead, you will need to add the harness converters to your order.

Q: Do harness converters give me running lights?
A: NO. These signals cannot, will not, and will never, ever have running lights. This has nothing to do with the addition of harness converters. Harness converters ONLY make the installation plug and play. They will not give you running lights. If you wish to wire your signals in a way that they stay on, then you will lose signaling functionality.

Q: Do these signals have running lights?
A: No. See above.

Q: After installing these, my taillight stopped working correctly! Why?
A: If you are custom wiring your signals without the use of harness converters you must not connect the running light and signal circuit together into the signals. This will throw off the functionality of the entire signaling system on your bike. These signals are for use with only the signaling circuit.

Q: Do I need a flasher relay?
A: Installing aftermarket LED lights may cause your signals to flash faster than the OEM speed. Purchasing one of our Gen 2-F LED flasher relays will correct this problem.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive this once I order it?
A: Our handling time is 1-2 business days, and the shipping time varies based on the shipping method selected. To learn more about shipping times, please see the articles in our Terms & Conditions regarding domestic and international shipping here.

Q: I'm located outside of the United States. Will I have to pay duties on this item?
A: Some countries charge additional fees when a package is imported and delivered to the recipient. We have no way of knowing or estimating what these fees will be. It is the buyer's responsibility to cover these additional costs.

This customer purchased the item at our site.
I love the overall look, but I had to get a little creative on the installation. The retaining nut wouldn't hold well into to the backside of fairing, even with it perfectly centered. I made shims the shape of the OE turn signals to get it to fit and stay on.

These flush mount blinkers do not fit there are gaps top and bottom and the mounting bolt is also to small watse of time and money

Retaining nut is not sufficient, as the other user, I modified the original mount plates to suit. Signals were clearly not designed for this bike, I knew that going in though, and when mounted, it's not obvious unless you know to look for it. Aesthetically, they're great. Functionally, I'm a little concerned. They are barely visible at all in direct sunlight, possibly because that do not have a diffusive cover or maybe the simply aren't bright enough, the result is that they do not function as turn signals unless you are in the shade or driving at night. The Suzuki wiring harness worked great, and the new relay is working perfectly.

Advantages: They look good.

Disadvantages: Installation, day time operation.

The flush mount turn signals do not cover the complete location as shown on website. They are simply too small for the designated area on the factory fearing , ( GSX1000F,2016).

So most of TST's products are spot on and their videos are always super helpful. But this product just missed then mark. Fitment was subpar, and you can even see it in the video. The nut and the turn signals should have simply been larger.

HOWEVER, you can easily make this work with a slight mod. Take the OEM signal spacer, use something like a hacksaw or coping saw to cut the little nib off it to make it flat - sand if necessary. Then take a drill bit the size of the larger hole in that spacer and drill between the 2 holes. Use a file to smooth the new large slot out. This spacer will go in-between the signal and the nut. You can now tighten it to your heart's content (within reason, finger tight is fine) and will have zero issues with it popping through the opening.

Advantages: Appearance. It looks sleeker, as expected from a cosmetic mod.

Disadvantages: Not technically road legal? But I mean, they don't claim to be, so what do you expect. Nobody will care though.
