TechSpec's unique Snakeskin material is .125" thick and has a low profile diamond pattern. It has a high traction rubber feel and is extremely popular among the racing community. By adding more grip to the tank, it allows for more overall control of your body motion, weight position and riding posture. It features excellent wear properties and provides significant grip for your legs without damaging your leathers. The SE Moto Yamaha 2015+ R1 Tank Ergo Shroud design is a result of much R&D done by the members of MotoAmerica team Yamalube Westby. It is a one-of-a-kind carbon fiber part that mounts onto the tank via hi-bond 3M double-sided tape. Seen on most MotoAmerica R1 bikes that earn podium spots, this piece is proven to work and help the rider feel connected to the bike. So I purchased this relay along with the integrated taillight setup for the GSX 8R just in case it was needed and nope the integrated tails work perfectly without it so I guess I'll have to save it for when my front blinkers come in and see if I need it for that lol.
