Description
We could tell that Suzuki's 776cc parallel-twin motor had potential as soon as we got our hands on it, and boy were we right! We've unlocked additional performance through our WORX tuning program, then took it another step further and developed our V1 Intake System for it, but now, we are taking it to a whole other level. We set out to unleash unreal power gains in the top-end of the rev range, specifically tuning and engineering the revised WORX Airbox to help those racers and track day enthusiasts get the absolute most out of their Suzuki GSX-8R or GSX-8S. Its premium carbon fiber construction houses our sintered nylon velocity stacks, protected by a high-flow reusable foam filter. Not only does the WORX Airbox provide a 73% reduction in component weight and more power gains, but its smaller form factor enables the installation of traditional piggyback rear shocks, ensuring you're no longer limited to remote reservoir shock options. When paired with the available WORX Stage 3 Tune and a full system exhaust, you'll find yourself leading the pack with unmatched performance!
The WORX Airbox comes pre-assembled, therefore we are not able to substitute items or customize the airbox or velocity stacks per order.
Installation note: We recommend removing the AIS and charcoal canister as this airbox does not feature a hose inlet for the AIS system. If you do not want to remove them, simply plug the hose coming off of the AIS and either secure it to a surrounding structure or let it hang freely.
We highly recommend checking the air filter after each race weekend or every 10 - 20 hours (whichever comes first). Depending on air conditions, this may mean cleaning and re-oiling after each weekend to ensure optimal engine protection and airflow.
