This ECU reflash was tuned using 93 pump gasoline. 93 octane should always be used when operating with this tune. AIS should be blocked off for optimal results and to avoid excessive popping during deceleration. O2 sensor connector should be unplugged to ensure proper results. This tune is suitable for stock or aftermarket air filters.
Description
We love it when a tune can make a huge difference, and this is definitely one of them! Kawasaki has heavily restricted the ZX-6R from the factory, which results in a sharp fall off in the top end of the rev range. Well, after we got our hands on the ECU, we not only removed the restriction, but we also optimized the other ECU parameters to improve the overall performance across the entire rev range, not just the top end. With big strides in performance in the lower and upper range, you'll immediately notice the increase in performance, resulting in faster lap times and probably a few more trophies on your shelf.
ERROR CODES: Please be aware that if any error codes, such as a Check Engine Light on the dash, were caused prior to sending in the ECU, they will still remain after the flash. Error codes are stored on the ECU and must be manually cleared with the appropriate OBD scan tool.
