This ECU reflash was tuned using premium 91 octane pump gasoline. 91 octane should always be used when operating with this tune.

Description

We've done a lot of development work on the Yamaha MT-09 and MT-09 SP, but for the most part, we focused on improving the looks...until now. We passed our Yamaha MT-09 over to our WORX Racing Division engineer team to let them unleash their racing and tuning knowledge on the Yamaha CP3. Their engineering and tuning efforts have led our TST Race Team to multiple ASRA National Championships, and have proven that the Yamaha MT-09 can be even more fun with the right tune! By optimizing the ECU with our TST Performance Reflash, you will immediately notice more power output and better performance every time you open the throttle. Not only are peak power figures increased, but we improved horsepower and torque across the entire rev range as well as optimized the MT-09 by adjusting or disabling a wide range of parameters that aid in overall performance and operational improvement. TPS RECALL: It's critical that specify in the provided field above whether or not your specific bike has had the TPS recall performed. The recall includes an ECU reflash with updated stock settings. Please know that if we’ve flashed your ECU before, you don’t need to purchase it again—we offer free reflashes. Simply contact our customer service team and we’ll take care of your ECU. Please note we may also follow up after your order for more details.

AFTER TUNE: Please be aware that the Check Engine Light will be on and you will be unable to access the menu after reinstalling your flashed ECU. This issue will clear after two ride cycles of at least 35-45 MPH.

This tune was specifically designed to work with aftermarket full system exhaust and the stock air filter, although aftermarket air filters can be used without negative performance effects.
