Description

The Yamaha YZF-R7 has some of the most sporty design aesthetics we've seen in a while, and in order to make the tail match the rest of the sportbike look, you need to ditch the oversized plastic fender that comes stock on the otherwise gorgeous R7. That's why we designed different Elite-1 Fender Eliminator kits, each one featuring a different license plate mounting solution. With these kits, you can mount your license plate in a high position that is similar to stock with either our standard fixed position or adjustable options. Our fixed position brackets are laser cut from stainless steel and feature a black powder coat finish, while our adjustable brackets are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and feature a durable black anodized finish. Each kit includes our exclusive Undertail Closeout to fill the void left behind from removing the stock fender. The design has been specifically shaped to provide smooth transitions of the undertail panels for a cohesive look, while also facilitating a mounting surface for the high-mount license plate brackets. Each closeout is molded from color and texture-matched ABS plastic alloy to ensure a natural look the R7 undertail. No matter which bracket you go with, our exclusive Elite-1 Fender Eliminator is ready to overhaul your 2022-2025 Yamaha R7's tail section.

NON U.S. BUYERS: Our standard bracket is designed for U.S. plates and fits a hole spacing of 12.7 to 15.49 cm with 5mm hardware, while the adjustable bracket fits a hole spacing of 13.2 to 15.97 cm with 5mm hardware. It is your responsibility to verify fitment before making your purchase

OEM TURN SIGNALS: If you plan to remount the OEM rear turn signals, pair this tail tidy with our TST OEM Rear Turn Signal Bracket - Kit B for a seamless installation of the stock turn signals.

Q: Do I have to do any drilling?
A: No - These high mount tail tidy kits install without any modifications to the stock parts.

Q: Is the license plate light included?
A: No - Since many riders choose not to utilize a license plate light, we do not automatically include one with this kit. If you want to install a light, be sure to check out our TST LED Stealth Universal License Plate Light

Q: Can I reinstall my stock turn signals?
A: In order to reuse your OEM turn signals, you'll need to add the TST OEM Rear Turn Signal Bracket - Kit B to your order. That bracket is can be installed with this Elite-1 High Mount Fender Eliminator and securely mount the stock turn signals without any modifications to the Fender Eliminator or your ride.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive this once I order it?

Q: I'm located outside of the United States. Will I have to pay duties on this item?

This customer purchased the item at our site.
This would be a 5* review if not for one thing. Ease of installation is great however they recommend Threadlock on the blockoff plate they they/you do not supply. Vibra-tite VC-3 is not readily available in most, almost ALL stores and unless you watch the install videos prior to purchase you will not know you would need this, and as such would make sense to add a 5oz tube as part of the provided kit. I drove all over las vegas looking for a tube of this, you offer no alternative solutions other than don't use Threadlock blue as you will melt the plastic. So currently my bike in in pieces unable to ride for 2 days waiting on an amazon delivery.

Advantages: Will look great on the R7 especially with the addition of the newly released turn signals specific to this bike

Disadvantages: A recommended sealant to be used is not offered in the kit and is not in most stores. Make sure you find this specific threadmate prior to purchase in order to save rework time

I can't wait for this kit to be available, I just know that TST won't disappoint. I'm really looking forward to the low mount, think it would look clean on the bike.

I give this 4 out of 5 because the fuse box itself won't click back into place after install. It's like 2 mm away from click into place and you cant force it. I followed the instructions from the video and even my buddy has this kit for his R7 and said his fuse box didnt click also back into place. We love the low mount but it may need spaced out another few MMs from the bracket, etc.
When looking at it you can see the bolt hitting the fuse box housing

4 out of 5. And that is based in initial install. Easy. One star removed for the sealing of the modulator board. No gasket on the lid. So not waterproof as hoped. A screw on top with an o-ring would be ideal. Much more expensive no doubt.
