Description
The stator is a particularly vulnerable engine case on the 2015-2018 Yamaha R3 and is extremely prone to damage during a crash or even a simple tip over in the parking lot. Damage to the stator cover can lead to a cracked cover that leaks vital engine oil, or worse, a cover that was ground down during a slide resulting in full internal component exposure and debris contamination. Having both street and race-trim Yamaha R3's at our shop and the increasing requirement to have stator covers at the track, we developed a robust stator cover that offers as much style as it does engine protection. Our easy-to-install case saver installs right over the stock case without the need to remove it, so there's no messing with spilled oil or gaskets. The precision engineering and hardware kit ensure a perfect fit without any modification to your fairings, too. That means you can spend more time riding and less time wrenching on engine crash protection. Noticed sometimes when using the blinker after first starting the bike and going down the road it does do the rapid flash for a couple flashes then figures itself out.
Great quality very bright, love the different modes and the brake flash works very well. Only thing is with the newer 6r it has different plugs. They kept the old style plugs on the wiring harnes in the lights and just added 2 wires for the new style plugs. Not a huge deal as they arent seen but im a fan of tucked and tidy so it only bothered me until i got all the fairings back in.

Just put this on my 24 ninja 500 se today had no idea what i was doing so I just followed along to the video and had no issue at all doing it myself with a couple tools the leds are way brighter like previous people have mentioned. it looks amazing definitely worth the money and definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy one i made the mistake of waiting to buy one then they sold out so definitely wasted no time buying one when they came back in stock and now they are sold out again.
