Description
After countless requests to make our popular MECH-GTR turn signals fit more motorcycle models, we continued to run into issues with the mounting method of those signals interfering with OEM parts. So we went back to the drawing board and took inspiration from our pod signal lineup to create our MECH-EVO LED Pod Turn Signals. We combined the styling of our MECH-GTR signal with the stud-based mounting method of our pod signals, enabling easy installation in situations previously thought impossible. The MECH-EVO's changed mounting method also updates the running light feature, which is now built-in and non-interchangeable, but brighter than ever! We utilize the same signaling technology that has made these so popular, ensuring you get the brightness that TST has become known for. The wires of each signal terminate in male bullet connectors and can be paired with the appropriate plug adapter, if needed, for an easy plug-and-play installation.
SPECIAL NOTE: We recommend only installing the Red version on the rear of your motorcycle. Not intended for front use when mounting surface is recessed within a fairing.
REAR MOUNTING: Pair these with our Pod Signal To License Plate Mounting Kit to easily mount for rear signal use.
WIRING: These signals connect via male bullet connectors. If that's different from your bike's plug, don't stress! We've got you covered. Check out our wire harness converters for a simple plug-and-play wiring job. No cutting, splicing, or soldering required. We currently have plug adapters for Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and more. Navigate to your specific motorcycle to find the exact plug adapter for your motorcycle. Reference the TST Turn Signal Wire Function Color Chart for a breakdown of each wire’s function.
RUNNING LIGHT: These turn signals feature a built-in running light circuit and are fully compatible with your OEM running light. If you do not have an OEM running light circuit, you will need to tap into a power source to provide one if you want to take advantage of that feature, which can easily be done with our TST Running Light Circuit Connection Kit. Because the running light circuit is already built into the signal, the use of a TST Running Mate is not needed and is not compatible.
FLASH RATE: Installing aftermarket LED lights will make your signals flash faster than OEM speed. You can correct this problem by using the TST plug-and-play LED flasher relay. Some Honda motorcycles will cut off the base running light while the turn signal is activated and reactivate the running light once the signal function is switched off.
